Peaceful Assembly to save the south side of Colborne Street

We invite all individuals and organizations to support the Save the south side of Colborne Street group in a peaceful assembly on the evening of March the 8 2010.

We have tried various other methods to show City Hall the vital role that the heritage and the history of the buildings on the south side of Colborne Street play in our community.

Our attempts to show the City Council have fallen on deaf ears, so far. So with few other options left and the City Council meeting on Monday evening, we are going to peacefully show our frustration. We are going to make sure they know that the community will not just go quietly into the night, when faced by adversity.

We will be gathering at the Royal Bank of Canada (On Colborne St.) at 5pm. Then marching to City Hall.

To get our message across it is vital that we do not cause any kind of public disturbance ie: blocking sidewalks, blocking entrances/exits, or harassment of any individuals.

Thank you all, and we look forward to seeing you all out there!
